Caution should be exercised by the user of this feature class. This feature class does not contain fields of attribution for MEDS attributes of ADDRESS2, ZIP, ZIP+4, COUNTY, and COUNTY FIPS for the tower locations, nor does it contain other attributes to indicate tower type, whether the tower is on a building, or the tower registration number. For the contact information, a good non-PII phone number is not present, nor a ZIP4 field. The CONTPO field is misidentified as containing phone numbers; it actually contains what appear to be PO Boxes. STRUCADD information is infrequently an address and is more often locational in nature. Several fields have considerable percentages of values populated with \u201cNOT AVAILABLE\u201d: CONTADD (6.4%), CONTPO (84.7%), FAACIRC (52.0%), and LICID (6.3%). From a geolocation aspect, random checks of the location of some towers indicate that the tower geolocations are likely very good, although some towers have been found to be as much as 76 meters off entity. If you are using this dataset as a shapefile, please be aware that it was converted from a Geodatabase. As a result, this shapefile may have attribution and metadata errors resulting from the conversion process. The following are known issues: null values may have been changed to 0s (zeros) or to blank values, numbers (including latitude and longitude) may have been rounded up or down, there may be issues with Unicode character strings, and time cannot be stored in a date field. Field names may have been truncated to no longer than 10 characters or completely changed, lengthy string attributes may have been truncated to 254 characters, and attribute columns may have been deleted. Shapefiles do not support coded domains and subtypes therefore the original file geodatabase attribution and metadata information for coded domains and subtypes could be incorrect or missing in the shapefile version.
